Who am I?

Hey there!

I’m enthusiastic about human-centered design—whether it’s for digital or physical services, online or offline.

My mission is to make services simpler, more inclusive, and kinder to the planet.

I’m driven to create societal change through design, one step at a time. Whether it’s easing everyday life for people here in the West or supporting underserved communities globally, I’m ready to help with my skills and knowledge.

New challenges don’t intimidate me—they excite me. I thrive on learning, collaborating with professionals of the field, and co-designing solutions with the true experts – the people impacted by the problem. I make sure we’ll tackle the right challenges and create effective, meaningful solutions!

Most societal challenges stem from human behavior. By designing with the mind in mind, we can make a real difference. That’s why I’ve dived deep into behavioral psychology—to uncover why people do what they do and use that knowledge to transform societes for better. By ethically using techniques such as nudging, people can be subsconciously pushed towards more sustainable behavior.

Accessibility isn’t just a bunch legal requirements, ignoring which can get you into trouble. It’s a fundamental necessity that impacts people’s lives. Millions live with physical disabilities, which require consideration in the design phase. A less discussed area of accessibility is brain-friendliness, a.k.a. cognitive accessibility. Every one of us grapples with cognitive glitches like anxiety, stress, or fatigue from time to time. Meanwhile with conditions like ADHD and autism the brain is wired to work differently. Making services easier to use and less distracting not only saves us precious headspace, it can enable millions of users to make the most out of your service! That’s why I’ve specialized in this often overlooked critical area: cognitive accessibility.

Inclusive design

A fifth of our population relies on accessible interfaces. Everyone benefits from it. Just like a flight of stairs would turn back a wheelchair user, inaccessible environments service can block potential customers from using your service.

In addition to the WCAG and EAA requirements, I will also help make your services brain-friendly to reduce users’ cognitive load. Less thinking, more doing!

Accessibility audits

Not quite sure how bad is your service’s accessibility? Worry not, hence I am here to help.

I conduct accessibility audits using a combination of automated testing tools, checklists (e.g. latest WCAG), my vast knowledge on the subject, and ethical in-depth user research with a variety of impacted humanbeings. You will receive a report detailing what sucks for your in-house team – or me – to fix.

Usability Testing

Testing your product or service only with your colleagues and best friend’s mom is a bad idea. You need feedback from real users get real, unfiltered feedback. I will filter all the cursing, ask insightful questions and read between the lines, so that you will receive only an easy-to-read report, that is gentle on your emotions, of where the issues lie.

Either get a quick expert assessment with heuristic evaluation and a report detailing any found usability issues, or the full package with real (ethical) human-experiments we call user testing.
